I trained as a nurse in Cork from 1985-88 and have worked in various nursing settings in the past 35 years. This has given me great life experience along with great medical experience. During this time I also ventured into studying psychology and and completed a diploma in psychology and counselling skills in 1993. My more recent ventures have taken me along the path of Mindful Meditation courses and in November 2020 I completed a course in Neuro-Linguistics Programming, becoming a licensed practitioner.

In 2013 I trained as an acupuncturist with the highly acclaimed Dr. Vincent Carroll and to further my knowledge and experience I travelled to Vietnam and worked in a W.H.O. approved hospital for acupuncture & traditional medicine. These studies and experiences have enabled me to fully integrate both the western and eastern approach in obtaining good health both physically and mentally.
